New Jersey Kids teeth care, Concerns about tooth extraction: I have concerns about my son wisdom teeth extractions. He has an appointment soon to have all four wisdom teeth removed. He will be asleep durring the process but so I know he will not feel anything during the extraction process but how bad will he feel afterwords.
I never got my own wisdom teeth removed so I am not sure what the healing process is like and want to expect afterwords. What is the aftercare like?

My son has two baby teeth that need to come out but they have yet to come out and the adult teeth are coming in behind them. The dentist told me this happens and he will just need to have the baby teeth pulled.
My son has a dental appointment for next week to have them pulled but will he be in a lot of pain afterwords? Not sure what it is like having to have teeth pulled and I think I more worried about it then my son but would love some advise thanks

My son needs to have two baby molars pulled. They both have really bad cavities and the dentist said in this case I would be better off pulling them and getting space maintainers then trying to do baby root canal and capping them.
Either way it is costly and I need help. He told me that their office does take some dental discount plans the two they stated they are on you show listed on your web site. Between the Careington dental 500 and the Careington POS which is better? The dental office just tells me it up to me since they do accept both.

My son needs to have his wisdom teeth pulled. I would like to have all four taken out but if nothing else at least the two that are currently causing him problems. I have a cheap dental insurance plan that I get though my job. However, I just found out it does not cover for a tooth to be pulled if a oral surgeon has to pull the teeth.
This is a joke who else is going to pull a wisdom tooth out ? I called around a few oral surgeons to get an idea of cost and for just two teeth to be pulled it will cost me around $1200 – $15000. I am in price shock and do not know what to do.

My son has to have four of his baby teeth pulled. His adult teeth do not have room since the baby teeth will not come out. Well I made an appointment for him to have this dental work done. What I would like to know is if my son will be in a lot of pain afterwords?
He will be asleep while he has the teeth pulled but will he be in pain when he wakes up? Should I only feed him really soft foods? Any additional information you may have would be good. Thanks

My son who is five year old just had three baby teeth removed do to bad dental carries. He was very good while the dentist removed his teeth. However when the dentist was done with the extractions my son really just wanted to go home.
Now I know I should have taken more time to ask the dentist about his aftercare but I was only thinking of my son at the time. My son needs to go back to the dentist in a week to be fitted for space maintainers.
I guessing his gums will be heal by then. But since I forgot to ask about the aftercare I am not really sure. So besides trying to keep his mouth clean is there anything else I should be doing for him?

My daughter has a dental appointment to have one of her baby teeth pulled. The baby tooth she needs pulled is not loose but has to be pulled so that her adult tooth will come in. My daughter is upset that she is going to have to have this tooth pulled and she does not want to get it done
I told her that since it is a baby tooth it will not hurt her all that much and her dentist will do everything he can so she does not feel any pain during the process. This seems to be okay for now but I would love some additional advise in case things changes when she has to goes to get her tooth pulled.
