Can I get a dental discount plan, and use that with my husband family dental insurance

My husband does get a family dental insurance plan for us though his job.  It just that is only has a 1500.00 max limit per person which most times if find but a few times we had to go over the limit passing that cost onto us.

I though I could get a dental discount plan lowing the cost for dental services making so we hopefully do not go over our max limitation that our insurance plan as.  Can you do this?

Family dental, vision, and health care.

Monday, Aug. 23rd 2010 11:43 AM

Why is it that dental and vision is not together with health.  It call comes down to health care so why should it not just be all together on one plan?  Even when you by health the dental that comes with it is still separate from the health.  It also normally dose not include vision unless you pay more.  Is this just another way they get money out of you?

What is the typical cost range for dental insurance

Sunday, Aug. 22nd 2010 11:16 AM

Right now I get dental an health though my current job.  However I am thinking about quitting and taking up a nanny position full time.  I will get a place to live for free and have  no real bills other then personal ones.

The thing is I have always gotten my health and dental insurance though my job so I have not idea the cost of insurance when you have to get it yourself.  I want to know if it would be worth it to me or not.

Family dental insurance for Westchester NY

Thursday, Aug. 19th 2010 10:28 AM

I have a family of four and right now my husband does not get dental insurance though his job.  We have been paying for our dental needs out of pocket but the expense is getting higher each time one of us goes to see the dentist.

I talk things over with him and we are willing to get a family dental insurance plan if we can find one that makes sense.  We do not want to pay high monthly cost for dental insurance that goes over what we pay out of pocket for our dental needs.   Advise on a good plan needed.
