My son is not yet two but I want to take him to see a pediatric dentist.  I currently do not have dental insurance for him.  I would like to get some insurance in place before I take him to see Pediatric dentist.

Reply: Not all HMO plans cover for specialist but there are some that do.  You would need to read each plan carefully to confirm if the plan you are looking as provides benefits for Pediatric dentist.  For the ones that do you will want to note that in most cases your coverage’s for specialist are not the same as for the family/general dentists that you pick within the plan.
