Kids Dental, Oral Bacteria is Linked to an Increased Risk of Pancreatic Cancer
Gum disease and pancreatic cancer may be associated with one another, according to the British Dental Health Foundation. Published in the journal Gut, the study found that certain types of bacterium present in the formation of gum disease is linked to a 2 times higher risk of developing pancreatic cancer.
