I have not been able to take him to the dentist because I can not afford to. I barely making it by as it is. I live in Georgia and I am trying to find a dental center or clinic for my son needed dental care. I can not seem to find any dentist willing to work on my son teeth for free. 1. Kay Belson Says:

Trying to find out right free dental care even for a minor can be very hard. Since many programs are getting cut. You can try calling you state funded programs to see if they have any thing that can help you out.

Look for dental schools. They are not normally free but they do offer dental services at a much lower cost.

Call or check out online United Way. They sometimes have dental programs for dental care for kids. As well as American Dental Association. Though it is random as to where and when.

Other wise instead of trying to get free dental care try and find ways to help make having dental care more affordable. Like buying a low cost dental insurance plan or getting a dental discount plan either would help you save money on your son dental care.

If your son is 10 then he is in school, right? So talk to the school nurse and see what they can advise. You should have some dental clinics near you. However many dental clinics do not give free dental care but they do try to work things out so that the dental care given can be more affordable.

  3. Nole Says:

If you are in such a low income status that you can not take proper care of your son teeth, you should be on some form of state assistance anyway. Therefore contact your case worker and see where you need to take your son in for the free dental care you are looking for.

If you are not on any state assistance programs maybe that is where you should start. See if you can get any help for you and your son.
