My five year old son may have a cavity but I am not sure. Right now he brushes his teeth on his own and I do a quick once over just to make sure we get everything. However today I notice a brown spot on the side of one of the middle teeth that was not there before.
I tried brushing it off but it did not brush off. Is this a sign of a cavity? He was just at the dentist three months ago. Can he get a cavity this fast? Should I take him to see a dentist or see if it goes away on it own?

I have a 18 month old daughter I brush her teeth twice a day and wipe them down after each meal. I just not sure when I need to start flossing her teeth. Right now I thing she would be too fussy about me doing that. She not too good with staying still when I brush her teeth. Also around what age should I start trying to get her to brush on her own.

The dentist will not take a payment plan stating I have poor credit. Which is not true I have no credit but not bad credit so I do not get that.
Any way every day my kids go without getting there basic dental cares met I feel terrible. Please advise me what I can do to get dental insurance or low cost dental care for my kids.

I am a low income single mom of two with very bad teeth problems. My kids always come first so whatever they need I make sure I get it for them. Right now I do not have any dental insurance. I pay cash for my kids dental care but since they are kids I take them to this dental clinic for low income homes.
They only help kids which is find for my children. I have been putting off my own dental care for so long now that my teeth are really bad and are starting to hurt me. I do not know what to do. The few dentist I talked will take a payment plan but still wants $100.00 a month. I can only afford about half that a month. Is there anywhere I can go that is for low income adult dental care.

When shoul you first take your baby to see the dentist? I know people asked this question before but it seems the answers very from first year to five or six. I think that maybe waiting until the child is five or six seems to be a little to long of a wait. But do you really need to take an infant into see a dentist when they only have a few teeth? I looking for the best time to first take your child to see a dentist.

For some reason my 12 year old is getting into the habit of not brushing. I tell her to brush after breakfast and she makes a fuss I guessing she is doing it since she goes to the bathroom. I do not always remember to tell her to brush after dinner but I feel I should not have to. However if I do not I know she does not. How can I get her to be more serious about her oral health care?

I just notice that I had a broken top right wisdom tooth. I got all my teeth and they never gave me any problems. However I notice when I was done eat that my wisdom tooth was very sharped edged. I think I cracked a part off without knowing it.
I do not have dental insurance so will it be cost to remove? Will the dentist need to remove it? I not sure what to do at this point.

I am 22 and my to be is 21. We are going to be married in four months. What I would like to know is, is it cheaper to get dental care though our universities since we both are going to college just different universities.
Or would getting dental insurance once we are married be a less expensive way to go? Not sure but trying to plan a head a little on what we need to do.

For family dental insurance, would only wife and kids be dependents? Or could you also add extended family members that live with you? My mom and 16 year old sister are living with me since my mom’s divorce.
They have no were else to go and I have been taking care of them both. Could I not add them to my dental insurance? They have some medical still but no dental so I am trying to help them out with that too.
