New Jersey dental insurance for kids.
I have a eight year old son that see the dentist twice a year. With a move that I made I had to change jobs that does not offer me dental benefits until I am with them for a year. I do not want to make my son wait a full year not seeing a dentist.
Is there any dental insurance plans that I could get for just my son while I am waiting for my dental benefits to start with my job? Something low cost would be nice.

With our dental insurance plans it would depend on the plan many will but you need to check. However with our dental discount plans all will let only a minor to be listed.
Though with dental discount plans you may as well list yourself since they are so affordable and it would make sense for you to be able to have low cost dental care for yourself.

Since you will not be keeping a dental plan for more then a year you would what to make sure you do not get any dental insurance plans that have waiting periods since they can be up to a year or more for some dental services.
Getting a low cost dental discount plan until you get your dnetal benefits would be a good idea for you. This way you can save money of your child dental care while you are waiting for your plan benefits to kick in.
I agree you should also think about your own dental needs a well. After all you need to have good oral health care too. Hard to be a good mom or dad for that matter with a toothache.
