When shoul you first take your baby to see the dentist?  I know people asked this question before but it seems the answers very from first year to five or six.  I think that maybe waiting until the child is five or six seems to be a little to long of a wait.  But do you really need to take an infant into see a dentist when they only have a few teeth?  I looking for the best time to first take your child to see a dentist.

People have different opinions on this. Some say at the first sign of your baby cutting their teeth and other say between 1 and 2 years old. Where even others do not bother with it until their child start going to school at around five or six.

For my husband and I we took our kids when they were a little over a year old. I think between one and two is good enough but do what you feel is best for you. Talk things over with your spouse or dentist and see what you think

I took my daughter when she was not quite two. Her teeth were in very good shape however the dentist did tell me that I should have taken her in sooner. He says when they are one but I do not know for sure since I did not see the point when my daughter teeth were fine anyway.

Well you should take your child to see the dentist when they are around one year old. Once you child as teeth then they can get cavities and other teeth issues. You want to make sure your child has good healthy teeth then take your child to see the dentist sooner.

My son when when he was 18 months which I was very glad I took him when I did because he has week tooth enamel and I was able to get dental sealants before he got cavities. You never know what may be going on with baby teeth and it is a good idea to go to the dentist early
