Dental care for kids, Looking for a good dentist.
My three year old daughter will need to start going to the dentist. My husband has a very good family dental insurance plan though work. The problem is the dentist we see will not take any children under the age of six.
I asked my dentist for a referral but he did not have one. How do I find my daughter a good child dentist? Any helpful tips and or advise is welcomed.

You may want to look for a Pediatric dentist. Which is a specialist for children. Many general dentist will not work on child too young of an age. Simply because they are not quipped for it.

You can contact the The American Academy of Pediatric Dentistry’s (AAPD) if you want to find out who is in your given area. Then start making some phone calls. See if over the phone they sound like that office would workout for you.
I like to stop by the dental office in question and check them out. Are they kid friendly? After all they are baby dentist so you want your child to feel comfortable there.

What about asking your friend or family for a referral? If you have friends at work that also have young children see where they may take their kids. I found my son dentist from one of my boss. Anyway just ask around. I am sure you know some other people that also have children around your daughter age
