My daughter had week tooth enamel where she would get cavities on her baby teeth very easily even though I brushed them two to three times a day.
Having the dental sealants really saved me money in the long run. She did not get any new cavities after the sealants were put on her teeth.
Lucky for me her adult teeth came in without the week tooth enamel issues. I would suggest dental sealants whenever you have a child prone to cavities.
